Good Evening I am KC from Hotel Axas Nihonbashi and Axas Stay Ishikawadai.
Very soon the Japanese Obon festival will start.
The festival is celebrated to in the memory of deceased ancestors. It is believed to bring back the sprite of decesed ancestors from grave to their home. The sprits are escorted from grave to the home by the paper laltern. The traditional Bon Odori dance can be observed. The dance varies from region to region but it is normally based around the rhythms of Japanese taiko drums. The events will be held nearby Axas Stay Ishikawadai for two days.
