Revised Appearance Standards

We will deepen our understanding of diversity and promote diversity and the creation of a flat corporate culture where everyone respects each other. Furthermore, by having our staff think about and groom themselves to be “suitable for a hotelier,” we will foster their confidence, initiative, and sense of responsibility as hoteliers, leading to the realization of better hospitality.

Certified as an Excellent Health and Productivity Management Corporation

We position “health and productivity management” as one of the measures in our company’s growth strategy, and will continue to create a better work environment.

SDGs Initiatives and Contributions through Local Production and Consumption

Local production and consumption means consuming locally produced products locally. There is a movement to consume vegetables and other produce locally in the Goto region, and as a result, we are working to protect and revitalize local producers in agriculture and livestock farming.

Local production and consumption leads to the abundance of land and sea

The first major contributions to local production and consumption are SDGs 14, “Protect the abundance of the seas” and 15, “Protect the abundance of the land.” Consuming products caught in the sea or grown in the region also leads to the protection of marine and land resources.

Local production and consumption also contributes to energy and environmental issues

Local production and consumption also contributes to SDGs 7, “Affordable and clean energy for all,” 9, “Build foundations for industry, innovation and sustainable development,” and 13, “Take concrete measures to combat climate change.” First, regarding number 13, consuming food locally leads to reducing the CO2 generated during transportation. The distance food is transported is also called “food mileage,” and the higher the food mileage, the greater the transportation costs and energy required. Since reducing CO2 is necessary to combat global warming, reducing CO2 emissions during transportation is a very important issue.

Regular disaster prevention drills

We have prepared manuals for various fire and disaster prevention measures to prepare for disasters, and regularly conduct disaster prevention drills for employees.

Promotion of information security measures

We have established a system to detect unauthorized access and cyber attacks from outside. We have also established internal regulations regarding the handling of information devices, and are working to educate employees through training and audits.

Measures against passive smoking

All seats in the restaurants and bars of our group hotels have been made non-smoking. In addition, the company and the health insurance association work together to support employees who are trying to quit smoking, and we are taking measures to reduce the smoking rate, such as banning smoking during working hours.
